KB4524244 and KB4532693 recent updates and their unintended consequences are still causing concern to some users. It is recommended that these are removed from Windows Update.

Intel Atom and Windows 10 updates

The recent news regarding Microsoft’s decision not to update some Intel Atom processors with the latest version of Windows 10 Creators Edition  has caused some confusion amongst techies and users alike.  Should we worry?

Remove a file association

Sometimes when you are trying to open a file you might just use the Open with facility in Windows Explorer.

If this fails because the program is unable to open it and you forgot to remove the tick from the box labeled “Always use this app to open xxx files” …
